Louise Gets A Shot At Justice

Louise McLeary from Kirkcaldy will receive correspondence from Dumbarton Procurator Fiscal's office on tape, it was announced today. Louise, who is blind had refused to attend court in Helensburgh on 22nd August, as she had not received a summons in a format which was accessible to her.

Louise will now be able to defend herself against a breach of the peace charge dating back to 12th February this year when Louise attended the Big Blockade outside Faslane naval base on the Clyde.

Speaking today, Louise said, "I am delighted that Dumbarton PF has listened to my call. It would have been nice to have had this all arranged without worrying that a warrant was going to be issued for my arrest. I can now start planning my defence. I'll see you in court!"
