The Scottish Coalition For Justice Not War...

held a demo in Glasgow on Saturday 13th October which was attended by around 2000 people.

The crowd was made up of people of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds from all over Scotland. The excellent speakers included George Galloway MP, Aamer Anwar, Afghan refugee Mohammed Asif, Tommy Sheridan MSP and representatives from the Church of Scotland and the Catholic Church all voicing opposition to the war and the senseless slaughter of civilians in the U.S. attacks and in the bombing of Afghanistan.

Later, we marched round Glasgow City Centre and sat down on the road outside the Armed Forces Recruitment Office in Queen Street as a symbol of our protest.

Further demos have been planned for Glasgow on Saturday 27th October and Edinburgh on Thursday 1st November.
